Strandlopertjie turns 30!

On Friday, 20 May 2011, Strandlopertjie Pre-Primary School in Saldanha, had its 30th birthday.
Many young children had their first taste of school here and some are now even parents of children currently in Strandlopertjie! They have prepared lots of young ones for the future and are proud to host their 30th birthday, here celebrated in style!

Fire at Adult World

A fire at Adult World in Vredenburg attracked a lot of attention this afternoon. The fire seems to have started at Stunning upholsterers, but the cause of the fire is still unknown. According to bystanders at the scene the fire brigade took "a long time" to respond. Firefighters at the seen struggled to get the blaze under control.
