On the West Coast we are so fortunate to have blue skies for most of the year. Combine this with our lovely stretches of ocean and beach and you will understand how our name, Wideblue, relates to this extraordinary part of our country.

This year Wideblue is 5 years old. The site currently attracks about 5000 visitors per month, far from the 17 people who visited our site during the first week of it's excistence. 40% of of visitors are international, the biggest percentage coming from the USA, Netherlands, Israel, Switzerland and Germany. 50% are South African and 10% are undisclosed.

The purpose of Wideblue has always been to:

• to provide tourists with relevant information
• to inform new residents to the West Coast about our goings on
• to provide local residents with a place to advertise their products and make their voices heard.
